Founder

Frankie believes that belonging and wellbeing are two vital ingredients to ensure the whole child thrives. Sharing dance, story and song are some of the best vehicles to help create this.

Frankie has spent the best part of her career sharing her love for story sharing with children across a variety of settings including at The State Library of Queensland the First Five Forever Programming (2014-2023) and The Corner Programming (2008-2023) and winner of Storybox Library Storyteller of the year award (2021-2022), Artist in residence- Imaginary Theatre’s Powerkids (Brisbane Powerhouse 2017), Primary schools- Drama and Art teacher at New Farm Primary School (2018-2019), and most recently as an Actor/Teacher at Pullenvale Environmental Education Centre where she facilitates children’s connection with nature through story, song and dance (2022 - present). As founder and director of Bubs n Beats, she’s excited to have the opportunity to share her love of dance with children, families, teachers and librarians across Australia.
